Managed to cancel first hotel and now booked into second hotel so much happier with that. Saves lugging bike from one hotel to another. Have asked on Trip Advisor Forum about wearing cycing shorts in Malaysia - had two responses both stating that I will be fine but just to be aware to cover up when off the bike in more remote places. Just common sense. Spike is packed up in his posh new bike bag, pleased with it, well padded and plenty of room even with the back wheel still on. Now trying to make sure I haven't forgotten anything, the usual last minute panic. I'll get there.
